Question : How do I enable or setup integration with Customer Helpdesk?[ Top ]
Answer : 
  1. Make sure you have 'helpdesk' folder installed on your 'oneadmin' directory.

  2. Login to your One Admin panel.

  3. Click on admin > Installation, and install the Customer Helpdesk component onto your One Admin panel.

    Note: Remember to setup a helpdesk page on your website, such as http://your-domain-name/helpdesk.php.

  4. Click on the FAQ Support icon, and click on Preference title.

  5. In the Integration with Customer Helpdesk section, select 'Yes' to allow integration.

  6. Enter the fully qualified URL of the helpdesk page on your website in the box provided. For said, http://your-domain-name/helpdesk.php.

  7. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the 'Save' button.
 

Question : How do I add new questions and answers to FAQ database?[ Top ]
Answer : 
  1. Login to your One Admin panel, then click on Add FAQ.

  2. Select a existing category for the new question from the dropdown menu.

  3. Enter the question in the box provided.

  4. Type in the answer in the HTML editor, and format the text until you have the content desired.

  5. Attach a file to the FAQ if you like one. Click the 'Browse' button to select and locate the file from your desktop.

  6. Select 'Show' radio button to display the FAQ on your web page or select 'Hide' to hide from public viewing.
  7. Enter keywords for this question, in comma separated format. These keywords will be used to match the search pattern entered by visitors.

Question : How to install the FAQ Support?[ Top ]
Answer : 

Step 1: Unzip File

Unzip the faqsupport.zip onto your local computer, making sure to preserve the directory structure contained in the zip.


Step 2: Uploading Files

Using a FTP program, login to your web server and transfer the 'oneadmin' folder from your local computer into the web root.


Step 3: Set File Permissions

CHMOD777 the oneadmin/config.php file, and oneadmin/_files directory


Step 4: Creating a MySQL Database

Let's login to your MySQL database, and create a new database for your FAQ Support, as well as a new user account with full permissions on that database.

Step 5: Run Installation Wizard

Open http://your-domain/oneadmin/ with your web browser, follow and complete the instructions in the Installation Wizard.


Step 6: Start Creating Your Knowledge Base

You may now login to the One Admin panel, and start building knowledge base on your web page.
